Disney RPF: Kevin Jonas/Zac Efron
I have yet to see a way to write this pairing that doesn't delight me, so go crazy! Zac is a super-cool dreamboat and Kevin is, well, the least popular Jonas brother and also kind of a dork, and I'm charmed by that dynamic - fic that highlights it, where Zac is charmed by all the things about Kevin that make him feel like a dork, or where Kevin feels awkward with someone so recognized as being Awesome, or reverses it and puts them in a situation where Kevin is the cool one and Zac feels like a big old Kevin, that would be awesome. But, seriously, with these two I like it all - fluff, angst, ridiculous AUs, whatever your little heart desires. If you're a gen writer, I'd love to see that dorky one/cool one dynamic at play in their friendship.
JONAS: Kevin Lucas/Nick Lucas
Nick has no patience for ridiculousness, Kevin is the most ridiculous. There are so many ways to play with that! Canonically they get up to all sorts of wacky antics, which would make for some great gen, and Kevin has a tendency to do things like tell Nick to "put one in my mouth" and sneak over to his bed in the middle of the night, which...well, the slash almost writes itself sometimes.
JONAS: Kevin Lucas/Macy Misa
So much Kevin! Like I said in my signup, I would love to see the conflict between Macy's fannish THESE ARE MY IDOLS and THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE WHO ARE MY FRIENDS. Or maybe Kevin has the same problem reconciling the adorable hyperventilating Macy he's used to with Intense, Kind of Ragey, Athlete Macy. Something revolving around Kevin being a cheerleader and Macy being star athlete would be super, too. And all that applies for both het and gen :)
Hairspray (2007): Corny Collins/Motormouth Maybelle Stubbs
One of few pairings I'm really tinhatty about (but don't let that stop you from gen-ing it up and giving me something about their Awesome Friendship); I would love something grounded in reality, in what they would actually have to face when they started a relationship. Do her kids know about them (are one or both of them his?)? Who did they decide to tell, who is it a secret from, would either of them rather it not be a secret? But I don't need an angst-fest, I will take anything, seriously, and you will be my favorite.
