Heaven in Hard Times

1. I have two more Dreamwidth invite codes up for grabs, if anyone's interested. This shouldn't be assumed to have anything to do with who got the codes last time, lol, but I'd really like that if you ask, you actually intend to move (rather than creating a placeholder journal, or something); my DW reading list needs more action! :D [Er, not that I intend to play enforcer, or that there's anything I could do even if I wanted to...but something to think about, yes?]

2. I am completely, absolutely, shamelessly addicted to Pet Society on Facebook, omg. If you're one of my Facebook friends, chances are you've already gotten an invite from me, but SERIOUSLY start playing so my pet can go to your house and harrass you <3

3. I am also completely addicted to Myxer. screwthedaisies told me about it ages ago but I never bothered; I finally started playing around with it last night and zomg I am going to have the most annoying phone in the whole world. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL RINGTONES FOR EVERYONE FUCK YEAH.

4. I have this horrid irrational fear of June bugs and there are two in the room right now. BUT IF I CLOSE THE WINDOW IT'LL BE TOO HOT (our cats destroy screens at such an alarming rate we just don't bother) :( I was hoping I'd be a little better this year - there were bigger bugs in NC and I dealt ok, one even landed on my fucking toe once and I didn't freak out much. But nooooo I'm barely controlling the urge to panic right now and no one has any sympathy because "they can't hurt you" I KNOW THAT'S WHY IT'S IRRATIONAL oh god I hate them.

Thanks to the fabulous fizzyblogic, I made good on my Dreamwidth waffling. I'm not sure exactly how I'll handle LJ-ing - right now I'm set to crosspost by default, with comments disabled, but we'll see what I do in the future. Rather takes the point out of leaving if I keep posting, dunnit, lol? I'll probably end up ditching my LJ completely, posting-wise, and just keep up with people/comms via feed reader. We'll see.
