- My aunt's out of the hospital and at my other aunt's house (my other aunt is a nurse, she always goes down there for a few days after chemo. She didn't have chemo this time, but obviously staying at her own apartment alone isn't doing her any good). My other aunt lives in Milton, kind of in the backwoods...my sister and I brought her clothes and cat up there and I got stuck in her driveway. Just a little stuck, but being not in the best frame of mind, once sister and cat were out of the car I tried to unstick. And got so hopelessly stuck it took almost 45 minutes for my uncle, cousin, and cousin's wife to dig me out. *sigh*

*sigh* I've got a scene really firmly in my head right now. Maybe I'll try and think of another Biffno project and just start writing this...*no willpower*
- Addicting as it is, I've beaten Phoenix Wright: Justice for All. And for once, I find myself craving fic (I never finish any media and go OMGNEEDFIC. Video games, I suppose, are a little different). Anyone have any Phoenix Wright recs? Phoenix/Franziska, Phoenix/Edgeworth, any Phoenix-related femmeslash? *runs off to poke around Fanworks Finder*

Dec. 31st, 2007 01:33 pmAunt's back in the hospital. She got sick yesterday morning, Mom spent most of the day with her...today I woke up to a mostly empty house and Andrea telling me instead of going to chemo as scheduled, Kathy's in the hospital getting fluids.

Nov. 23rd, 2007 01:06 pm1. Sister IM'ed me Wednesday night. Aunt's in the hospital - she was too nauseous and in pain to eat or drink, so Mom brought her to the emergency room.
8:38:58 PM Mom: Good. I don't know quite what will occur here. I don't want to scare you, but if things spiral downhill any faster, you may need to come home.

Things at home pretty much suck right now. My brother's friend's funeral was Wednesday, then Aunt Kathy...yeah. I told Mom I was proud of her for not going back to drinking or smoking with all this going on...and went outside and smoked the first cigarette I've had since I was 16.
2. Lost internet late Wednesday night. Internet-less all day yesterday. Finally went and poked roommate about it...right now I'm online and she isn't. Whee. I did get caught up on my stack of Wired issues, made JBJ/Gore in Sims 2 (Jon's pregnant [whee, cheats] right now, but it crashes when he "pops" the second time. Poo), played more Phoenix Wright, and except for the fact that I kept checking to see if I could get online yet, had a nice relaxing, if not entirely cheery, day.
3. It's Christmas music season! Yaaaaay. I plan to make a Christmas music post later. Whoo.

5. I hate Weekend Update. IT NEVER ENDS.

7. ALIEN JON. Again,sidewinder: I imagine he kept those sucker-finger gloves for fun times with Gore and/or Hammond.
9. Band naming skit: hitting a leeetle close to home there, SNL. Also: I was all "yay!" they kinda got the appearances right, but they had Davidy-guy as bassist and Alec-y guy as keyboardist :( YES I AM BITCHING ABOUT AN SNL SKIT'S HISTORICAL ACCURACY. Oh God. (and that shirt that JBJ held up? They sold one similar to it last tour - Jon's head BIG and the others little beneath it)
