Omg. I DARE you to watch this without smiling.

It's a montage of Stephen Colbert dancing. It's...omg. I love it.

Everyone in my family has their own computer.

My dad's is by far the best, because he uses it for work so his boss pays for his computer stuff. That's how he ends up with the G5 and the widescreen and the 150 gig external hard drive and the shiny new printer and all the other general ooh-ness of his computer.

Because his computer is so nice, my sister likes it better than hers.

But that doesn't change the fact that she has her own fucking computer. It's a nice computer, too. The monitor's shitty, yes. But it's a good computer.

I do not have a computer at home. I'm stuck using whatever computer is open. So if Dad gets off his computer when she's on hers, I get on his.

And she throws a shitfit because "n files that I wanted to do x with are on THAT computer".

How is that my fucking problem? Save your shit to your own fucking computer, or deal with the consequences. And if you want a nicer fucking computer, save money and get it your damn self.

Spoiled bitch.

Fic Stuff

I just signed up for the [livejournal.com profile] licenseartistic fic challenge community.

They give six prompts every month, and you need to write for at least one of the prompts each month.

So, if all goes right, I'll be churning out at least one fic a month for all of 2007. One fic a month about David, specifically. I thought he was a safe choice, as a msue his relationships are far easier and more interesting to explore than any of the others. I figure that'll be a good way to force me out of writer's block when it strikes.

And I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] alphabetasoup, another fic challenge, with all of Bon Jovi. This one is to pick a list of 26 words, one starting with each letter of the alphabet, and write a fic for each word. Haven't been approved for that one yet.

My goals are to finish the alphabet one by December 2007, and to not use the same fic twice, so if it works out I'll write at least 38 fics this year.

I doubt it'll work like that, but it's something to shoot for.
