I hardly ever put any time into making my Sims look like the people they represent (except JBJ, but that's only because it takes very little work to make him look like real-JBJ if I start with the right head [the redhead with the mustache]), but for the past couple days I've been working LIEK WHOA to make realistic Sims. And since what good is the pretty if I don't show it off, a post is in order.

First, I was talking to arrys_girlie about Sims while I was downloading, and she mentioned an Eddie. Which I thought sounded like fun. Also, a pain in the ass. It was both! And worth it.





The skintone is entirely customized, the hair is just dreadlocks I downloaded somewhere heavily desaturated and lightened, and the eyes I downloaded I think from the same person I got the dreads from and I just added a very crude red ring around the outer edge. I'm really happy with how he turned out, and once I find the links to the dreads, eyes, and clothes I'll upload him for anyone who wants a demon in their neighborhood :)

And because he's Eddie I had to have a little fun with the clothes:





I couldn't resist this last one, readers of Fiendy's HSAs will know why (yes, that's Eddie as a child, I was looking to see what'll happen when I pollute the neighborhood gene pool):


So Eddie won't have a moment of peace be lonely, I made Bruce. I was gonna put him in a pilot uniform, but I couldn't find one, so eh. I did, however, download an Aviation career (I'm trying to avoid giving the entire neighborhood the Musician career track!) for him. Or perhaps I should find him a "blowing things up" or "sleeping with anything that isn't nailed down" career ;)





These outfits came in one of the expansion packs in the formal section. I've never had a use for them...UNTIL NOW.


Bruce and Eddie, adorable couple that they are, get coordinating jammies (for the record, JBJ and Joe Elliott wear the same set. They should have a slumber party!)



The last Maiden (sorry, string section) I made was Nicko, because I <3 Nicko and I wanted to see how well I could replicate his flat face as a Sim. Pretty well, it turns out!





Also stemming from conversation with arrys_girlie came the idea to make my two favorite (favorite is putting it lightly. If only you knew how much drooling and flailing and whining and begging and omging poor Fiendy has to put up with when it comes to these two...) OCs from her omgfantasticomg AU High Seas Adventures (posted in fiendess_fic and if you're not reading them YOU SHOULD BE GO NOW). *babbles*

Anyway. Kreshin and Marcel are made of sex and win and everything that is right and good and wonderful in the world.





Canonically, Marcel has no tattoos. Sim Marcel has tattoos, because this is the OMGPERFECTEST Marcel skintone, and I liked it more than I disliked giving Marcel tattoos. So. Pretty. (Actually, technically I don't think Kreshin has tattoos either, but I've always seen him tattooed).

I'm gonna take a break from the heavy customizing for a few days because omg I'd like to actually PLAY for a while, but on the list:

- Al Gore, with big white dog named Polar Bear
- Ale (HSA version, not RL Skunkworks version, for Nicko)
- Stewart Copeland (and Sting and Andy, but they should be easy enough in-game, no customizing needed)
- Cat & Bone from Deathstars
- Peter & Nick from BRMC (aw, poor Robert)

And I wanna find some decent curly hair and fix up Viv and David.

I downloaded a microphone so I'm gonna make Bruce "Change to...Formal" and then put him on the mic with Nicko on drums and be all LOL TROOPER.

The front isn't as awesome as it should be. NOT ENOUGH BULGY.

if you mean the rest of the Maidens, probably not

but once I find curly hair I have to make Markus, which means I have to make Andy. And I need to make the HSA women because there is a sudden imbalance of men/women in my neighborhood. And I wanna give Weiki a try because he's fairly distinctive looking (also, hearty pants). OOH, and Kai and Tobi. Because, yes. (And Marcel's gonna need someone so maybe an HSA-ized Sav, since I can't just give him David's Sav because no)
