Frankly, I'm just amazed there's anyone who matched for any of my fandoms! I'm so awestruck you could probably write me anything and I wouldn't notice if it pinged every single one of my ick buttons because omg fic in my dead fandoms <3
But that's no help to you, is it? So!
In general, there are a few things that always make me happy. I love really unbalanced power situations - not necessarily traditional Dom/sub type things, although I do like that, but just the sort of thing where one party is clearly more in control of the situation. I love crossdressing and playing with gender, regardless of whether the pairing is m/m, m/f, or f/f. And I'm really big on good kissing scenes! The right kissing scene can make me happier than the smuttiest smut.
As far as Def Leppard goes...man, I know it's easier to write when you've got more than a blank canvas but I'm having a hard time coming up with specifics! I love everything about Leppard fandom, apparently. When it comes to things like power dynamics, one thing in particular I like with the Lepps is a bit of a reversal with Joe, who's such an alpha male type, being the one not in control. (Not that you should feel obligated to include Joe! I meant that "any"!)
Flogging Molly is the main fandom I meant when I said I'll be too awestruck to notice anything wrong. I'm so starved for Molly fic! I feel like I should reiterate that I really mean that I'm good with any band members, since I mentioned a couple specifics in the details. But to throw out a few things, on top of what I mentioned as details, I kind of assume because of her canonical relationship with Dave Bridget's got a higher position in the power hierarchy (of sorts) in the band, which would be a good place to start with the power play thing. But, again, any means any! I promise I'm not trying to be difficult ;)
For Mad Men, there was a fabulous episode where Sal had Ken over for dinner, and the sexual tension was, at least to my interpretation, absolutely tangible. I'd love to see something that really plays with tension, that thick, slice-with-a-knife sort of uncomfortable tension. And with Hildy and Joan...there's not much I can say other than it's got that fabulous imbalance of power, plus a bit of experience/naiveté, and I can't even imagine a Hildy/Joan fic I'd be unhappy with.
