I'm curious about feminist JWalk and how that does/does not intersect with the transfic, trans man Jon, or crossdresser Jon (I'm guessing the transfic=the one where Jon and Ryan are both trans?).

Also, Panic goes to Horace Mantis 2! I really want that one.

And do you not have a file for the Jon/Brendon ebz au yet?

Feminist JWalk is like 100 words of Jon and Nicole having a daughter and once she reaches gendered-toy-age Jon has this faily feminist awakening because why are all the girl toys pink >_< and why are cleaning supplies toys >_< and where are the race cars that don't have pictures of boys all over the packaging >_< and Nicole being all fondly indulgent because she has known all this stuff since she was a teenager. Indulgent to the point Jon decides they are just going to buy her all "boy" things ha ha so there and then she has to step in all yes, social conditioning is bad, no, you are not going to deprive her of dolls, she likes dolls. I basically abandoned it because I couldn't write it without getting OTT didactic - it was turning into My Thoughts on Feminism rather than an actual story.

It's totally separate from Trans Man Jon; in that fic Jon is actually kind of misogynist in the sense he rejects "feminine" things because he has a lot of issues about no one ever ever questioning his masculinity, and he is actually kind of uncomfortable around Panic at first because they DON'T act like Men.

The Panic kids weird Jon out, a little. It's not their fault, they're nice enough guys, just, they're so girly, and maybe it's not fair but it leaves a little bit of a bitter taste in Jon's mouth that just because Ryan Ross' dick is attached he can laugh it off when people call him a girl. They're nice kids - guys, he has to stop thinking of them as kids, Ryan's his age - and it's not exactly their fault they were born with all the right parts in all the right places, just, Jon spent a long time studying how boys act, spends a long time making sure nothing about him says "feminine" in any way, and the makeup and flowers and pink shirts kind of rub it in his face how little effort they have to put in, how much they take it for granted.

At the rate I'm going, Panic Goes To Horace Mantis will be done sometime next year. I open it like once a month and write 100 words or so and then get bored and wander off. But it's the one where Panic gets a fan club and Macy is jealous because nobody loves Panic like she loves JONAS, okay, so why are they even pretending, but actually she's jealous because all these fangirls keep flirting with Jon >_<

I do! I just have all the EBZ files in a different folder that I forgot about when I was compiling. Nicole/Spencer and Jon/Brendon both have EBZ files.

Also I meant to answer this and forgot.

Transfic is one where William and Ryan are both trans, that I have actually abandoned but keep it in the folder because if I ever actually do sit down and write the one where Jon and Ryan are both trans, I'll be borrowing heavily from that Ryan.
