I start in the fitness center today.

I SHOULD be downtown right now but the frigging 8:07 bus came at 8. At 8 I was still putting my shoes on.

*grumble*

The buses from downtown to Barrington only run every hour, so I had to catch the 8:07 to get downtown for the 9:00 to be there by 10:00.

The next bus from the dorm?

9:36

Which will get me downtown for the 10:00 bus, which will get me to work at 10:30.

I hear the best way to start a job is to show up late on the first day. Yeah. Awesome.

Oh well. Called in and the girl who's in the fitness center now can stay until 10:30. And now I know I need to leave the room earlier to catch my bus.

Stupid RIPTA.

I took a coach bus home yesterday. It's a 30 minute bus ride. As I was maybe 8 minutes from home, the driver announces "if you're wondering why we aren't going the right way to Waterdown, we left some people at the university so we have to go back and get them"

We? No, no, sir. YOU were early. WE have to sit and wait. And he actually tuned around and we went back and got them.
