Yesterday was payday, so today was spend all my paycheck day.

*sigh*

My New Year's Resolution is to save money. It really is. I know I need to stop this "oh my God I have money I must spend it IMMEDIATELY" thing. But I wanted clothes and shit that were mostly on clearance, and I get paranoid about them selling out, so...okay, excuses. I know.

After this, no more spending my paychecks on frivolities. Although the Greyhound ticket wasn't a frivolity. Clothes I can't wear outside in this weather...yeah. Frivolous.







The boots weren't on sale at all, but I seriously want some boots and these are actually made for big calves and wide feet so they'll FIT. More excuses? Yeah. But.

At least I was smart and saved enough money so I can get food at South Station tomorrow. I'm not TOTALLY crazy.

I didn't like them at first, but they grew on me every time I visited the site until I practically bounced around the room when I realized my paycheck was enough to cover them.

Saving is a bitch. If you can separate a portion of your check and sock it away someplace right away, it helps. (It also helps if you keep a log of what you've stashed away, so you can watch it grow...if you're lucky you'll start to become obsessed with the growth, and then it'll grow even faster. But still. Saving is a bitch.)
