Heaven in Hard Times

Grant had to be put to sleep. I...kinda knew that was likely, when we brought Van Buren in to the emergency place last year we were told they might've been able to do something if we'd caught it earlier. We might have caught Grant's early enough...but the vet we brought him to wasn't as well-equipped (or as expensive) as the emergency place...so they kept him overnight, to deal with it this morning, and by then it was, of course, too late.

Blah.
